Jena Sims is an American actress, model, and beauty pageant winner who was born on December 30, 1988, in Winder, Georgia. Sims spent her early years growing up in Winder, Georgia and attended Winder-Barrow High School. Sims began competing in beauty pageants in her early teens and she won the Miss Georgia Teen USA 2007 title on November 11, 2006, after failing to win the previous year. In 2007, Sims represented her home state of Georgia in the Miss Teen USA 2007 but she did not place. After graduating high school in 2007, Sims went on to attend Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where she majored in International Business.
She has always had a soft heart and even in her teenage years, she used her success to help others by starting a non-profit organization that hosts beauty pageants for children with disabilities or illnesses such as cancer. Sims won a Prudential Spirit of Community award in 2003 and was honored again in 2006 with the Southern Hero award. Besides competing in beauty pageants and her charity work, Sims also started her film career in the 2012 feature "Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader". Sims also appeared in an episode of the American Hollywood drama series "Entourage".
