John Gammon was born on 20 August 1981, in New York City, New York, in the United States and was the youngest of three siblings. From the young age of 3 or 4, he exhibited a passion for acting. He attended several Catholic schools and pursued a career in acting starting with local acts and slowly began building a career in film and television.

Gammon was born under the astrological Sun sign of Leo. He possesses all of the Leo traits and is a true representative of his Sun sign. Gammon has been keeping a low profile and keeps his personal life private. As a young man with a dream of becoming an actor, he moved to Los Angeles soon after his college graduation to pursue his passion for acting. He played some minor roles in his early days of acting but he got his big break within a few years time.

He rose to fame after portraying his role on ABC’s family comedy "The Middle" (2010). Gammon's career as an actor began to take off and he gained popularity for his roles in television series including "We Are Douchebags" (2009) and "Marvin the Matador" (2010). Gammon was born into a middle-class family to parents of diverse descent. The Caucasian actor has a net worth of $2 million and enjoys traveling and seeking adventure.

In an interview, Gammon says that sitcom acting can be a bit tricky. "I didn’t know it was that difficult or that weird or there were these many nuances or subtleties to it like I did for drama," he said. Although he got himself a Bachelor of Arts degree, Gammon was not formally educated in acting, but his talent for acting earned him a fan following and a successful career.

Career:

Gammon moved to Los Angeles soon after his college graduation to pursue his love for acting. He played some minor roles in his early years of acting but he got his big break in acting after portraying his role on ABC’s family comedy "The Middle" which aired from 2010-2015. He would go on to get a role in the 2009 short film "We Are Douchebags" as well as the 2010 short film "Marvin the Matador". He also starred in several television shows such as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" in 2010, "Corey and Lucas for the Win" in 2011, and the 2011 film "I Am Singh".

As an actor, Gammon is successful in leaving a strong impression in the audience's hearts. He has many female fans, followers, and admirers from all around the globe. For now, his female fans must be happy with the fact that he is still single but there has been speculation about his sexual orientation. Whatever it is, he surely is an independent man and remains an eligible bachelor for the time being.

It's still a possibility that Gammon has not found the perfect girl for himself and is waiting for his perfect companion. For now, all we can do is just wait for the good-looking Gammon to bring fans some much-anticipated news of any future relationships. Gammon's role as "Darrin" in the ABC show "The Middle" is not exactly an intelligent character, to put it mildly. Gammon, on the other hand, is the polar opposite of his onscreen character with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies. He said it’s a bit challenging to play a character who is less intelligent, but he just remembers all of the times in his life when he has been confused. "And that’s easy because I’m confused a lot," he joked in an interview.

Personal Life:

When asked about his personal life and relationships, Gammon said, "I would say follow the advice of trusted, intelligent adults in your life.  Absolutely follow their advice, as well as teachers. You can tell if they know what they’re talking about or not. But the most important is really the hardest, which is sacrifice. If you're willing to sacrifice, of course, it goes without saying that you have to have some sort of talent, work ethic needs to be there. If you’re not willing to sacrifice, then it’s not going to happen. I would remember that. It's the toughest one, but I think it’s the most important. That’s what separates people who actually get it, or those who always fall short."

In the same interview, Gammon was asked, "You mentioned getting into acting because you wanted to have fun – was there one singular moment where you said 'Oh I want to be an actor' or did you just have a feeling in general, and follow through?"

Gammon replied, "Yeah, it was just sort of the way I grew up, and the way I saw life in general. I always figured people are performing all the time. It doesn’t matter what it is that you do, you have to play a role. That’s not just a figure of speech; that’s the actual truth. There are a lot of people who don’t get to do what I do for a living. They have to perform a role for their bosses, things they can say, and things they can never say. It's all part of the script, or the job description, whatever you want to call it.  They have to perform every single day. I noticed that at a very young age, and it took naturally to me. When I had the chance I had to jump on it."

Gammon appeared most recently in the short film "Jax in Love" in 2017. The actor says that he is also auditioning for a couple of other roles here and there but has not revealed if he is working on any future projects. For now, it seems Gammon has got quite a number of fans and admirers who love the way he looks and performs so his options remain open.
