When he was just four years old, his family relocated from Bethlehem to the west coast in California. Two years later, he was working for print advertisements as a child model. The modeling jobs would spark in an interest in him to become an actor. It is unknown of his career put a strain on the relationship of his parents. It would be stressful for any young child to deal with a divorce of parents but Jonathan’s issue was compounded with the stress of being a child star.

He completed his elementary education at Sergeant Elementary School. He graduated with honors from Chaminade College Preparatory High School in West Hills, California. He wanted to prove that he could do both without any problems. Not only did he finish high school, he finished at the top of his class with honors.
He could have decided to end his education and not attend college because of his acting career but he felt getting higher learning was a priority in his life. He proceeded to attend the prestigious Harvard University where he spent only two years from 2000 to 2002. There are some rumors that Jonathan didn’t actually earn his spot at Harvard and they only accepted him because of his famous name. It is speculated that he only lasted two years at Harvard because he wasn’t actually qualified to be a student there. When he left Harvard, he spent another year of college at St. Andrews University in Scotland. In 2010, he finally finished his college career and graduated from Columbia University.
At the age of seven, Jonathan worked with a print advertising company as a model in Sacramento. That was the encouragement that he needed because the positive feedback assured him that he would be able to make it as a child actor. After his stint as model, he did a lot of TV commercials for a lot of nationally known and brand name products such as Kellogg Cereals and Mattel toys. Getting his face on kid friendly merchandise was an important step in his career.

Jonathan played the middle song and gained a large following among young girls because his friendly and cute look.
Jonathan’s success on Home Improvement opened the door for movie roles. He played the voice of Simba in the Disney classic, The Lion King. Just having those two credits alone would make any actor happy. To this day, those two projects are remembered fondly by fans all over the world.

As a young boy, he was interested in the music of Boys II Men. He really loved R&B music and respected how talented the group was. Roseanne and Grace Under Fire were his favorite shows as a boy. He also liked watching the news because he was curious about learning about the current events around the world.
Even though he was considered to be heart throb during his younger years, fans will be disappointed to find out that he has kept his love life private. There is no public information available on his significant other or any children. He didn’t appear much in public once his fame died down. Once his fame went away, so did the female admirers.
There was an unfortunate prank played when news of the untimely death of this hugely talented actor spread like fire over a weekend. The Facebook page where the announcement was made got nearly one million within a few hours. However, his rep came out to clear the air about the hoax. The reps came out to explain in firm and clear terms that the former famous actor was not dead but alive and well. The reason the rumor was able to grow is because Jonathan is no longer considered to be famous since he is no longer doing any acting projects.
