<p>Jorgie Porter is an English <a href="/biography/jorgie-porter">actress</a> who is perhaps best known for her portrayal of the character of Theresa in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. <a href="/biography/jorgie-porter">Jorgina Porter</a> was born on December 25, 1987, in Trafford, Manchester, England. Jorgie was raised by her mother and grandmother and has only met her father one time. Jorgie attended the Hammond School in Chester. Jorgie became a cast member on Hollyoaks, playing Theresa McQueen, in November of 2008. In 2010, she was ranked 50<sup>th</sup> in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2011. She participated in the television show, Born to Shine, in 2011. The show is an ITV reality competition program that features celebrities learning a new skill from a talented teenager. Jorgie learned to street dance but did not make it to the final.</p>

<p>In 2012, Jorgie participated in another reality competition show called Dancing on Ice; this time, Jorgie made it to the final but finished second to another British <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Wolfenden">soap opera star</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Wolfenden">Matthew Wolfenden</a>.
