Joyce Mackenzie eventually announced her retirement from her acting career. She had a long and decorated career that she was very proud of. She decided to retire in her home state and currently resides in Dana Point, California. She wanted to keep working after she quit acting. Even though she no longer wanted to appear on screen, she still had an itch to work.
