Justine Maurer is an American who was born on May 8,1968. She was a costumer for the movie, “Carlito's Way”, when she met her future husband. ustine is said to be kind and lovable to others but her own life is not very well detailed in the media. It is said that she copes well with her work and the upbringing of her children.  Justine is a  pretty blonde woman  and often appears on her husband’s arm, escorting him through his great success in the world of cinema.

Justine is married to <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John Leguizamo</a>, who is a renowned <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">actor</a>, stand-up comedian and producer. <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John Leguizamo</a> is also a <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">playwright</a>, screenwriter and voice actor. Justine is <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">Leguizamo</a>’s second wife; his first marriage with the actress Yelba Osorio was unsuccessful. I did a lot of research for the part and I knew people like that growing up, I mean drug dealers, and they let me go. I started improvising like crazy and adding all this text and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_De_Palma">De Palma</a> loved it. And so I feel like I really found myself, like what it was to be present in the moment, to be as explosive and as volatile as you can be and also as quiet...that’s how I found myself.” The confidence <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">Leguizamo</a> found on the silver screen seemed to carry over into his real life and he attracted the attention of the young costumer, Justine Maurer.

<a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John</a> and Justine dated for over five years before getting married. The couple was married to each other on July 5, 2003. Their wedding was a Catholic-Jewish ceremony as <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John</a> is Catholic and Justine is Jewish.  The couple has been together fifteen years and it does not look like a divorce or any other marital quarrels are in their future, even though that often happens to others. The couple has two children together,  a son named Ryder Lee "Lucas" Leguizamo and a daughter named Allegra Sky Leguizamo. The couple’s daughter, Allegra Sky Leguizamo,  is also an actress, just like  her father. Allegra was born on October 23, 1999. The youngest child, a son named Ryder Lee Leguizamo, was born on December 5, 2000, he is also an actor.

He says of his early career, “In my mind, I was going to be the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip_Wilson">Latino</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip_Wilson">Flip Wilson</a>,” says the actor about channeling his “inner Latina.” I grew up with <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip_Wilson">Flip Wilson</a>, and when he did Geraldine, that just cracked me up. Nobody had done that since him, so I felt like I would take the baton and do my version of Latina women.”

<a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John</a> played a small role in the “Miami Vice”. Afterwards, he  appeared in numerous films like “Regarding Henry”, “Hangin' with the Homeboys”, “Super Mario Bros”, “Whispers in the Dark” and “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar”.  In the famous movie "Ice age" <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John</a> is a leading <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">voice actor</a> and this has served to make him even more famous. He also wrote some works for the Off-Broadway productions, like “Mambo Mouth” / “Sexaholix…A Love Story”. It has been reported that <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John</a> used his relationship with Justine as a basis for the story. <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John Leguizamo</a> and Justine Maurer often appear together in public and it was reported that the couple “shined on the red carpet” at the Emmy Awards and were considered as one of the event’s “cutest couples”. <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John</a> and Justine also visited Justine’s alma mater, Vassar, where <a href="/biography/john-leguizamo">John</a> talked about his life and creative work during a workshop with film students. He told the students “You can take your annoying, attention-getting ways and make something useful out of them. If they can make penicillin out of moldy bread, they can make something out of you. That was my first insight, that I could turn this into something positive instead of self-destructive. I started acting, taking acting classes, and I found myself in those classes.” And, of course, he found Justine through acting as well.
