Keke Wyatt is known as an American R&B singer and television personality. She is most famous for her song "Nothing in This World” and for being a cast member on TV One's R&B Divas: Atlanta.
Background
Ke'Tara Shavon "Keke" Wyatt was born on March 10, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her parents are Lorna Wyatt and Keever Wyatt II. Her mother worked as a vocalist, while her father worked as an organist and vocalist. She comes from a mixed family because her mother is Caucasian while her father is Native American, specifically of the Cherokee tribe and African American.
She has two younger brothers named Keever Wyatt, III and Kendall Wyatt.
Music Career
Keke is proud to come from a musical family rooted in church music and gospel tunes. Her parents exposed her to R&B music at home and encouraged her to pursue secular music. Even though they were religious, they wanted their daughter to create her own path outside of the church.
She is able to perform several genres of music that include gospel, R&B, pop, country and opera because of the influences of her parents. They were very diverse in their music interests and wanted their daughter to understand all the different types of sounds that music could off her.
Personal Life
When she was just 18 years old, she married Rahmat Morton who is eight years older than her and a former athlete. They later had children together as their marriage grew.
