Kelli Tennant is known as a former college volleyball player, sports reporter, and author. She is most famous for her sexual assault lawsuit against former NBA player and coach, Luke Walton.
Kelli Tennant was born on December 10, 1987, in the state of California. She attended Chaparral High School in Temecula, CA where she was named as a FAB 50 member by Volleyball Magazine and listed on the Los Angeles Times All-Star Girl's Volleyball Team. She graduated from the University of Southern California. As a USC Trojan, Tennant played two seasons of volleyball from 2005 to 2006. She was sidelined in 2007 in the wake of being medically determined to have fibromyalgia. She resigned from the sport toward the finish of that season.
After college, Kelli Tennant was recruited by ESPN for a college volleyball broadcasting role. In the wake of working at different networks, she moved to a spot with Time Warner/Spectrum Sportsnet in Los Angeles where she covered teams in Los Angeles. She rose to a lead host position of Lakeshow, a pregame show for the Lakers.
Kelli is the host of Ceremony Wellness, a podcast about healing and wisdom. The podcast features voices in wellbeing, health, and profound turn of events. She and guests talk about recuperating cures and"options in contrast to the customary way for individuals on mending ventures.
Tennant distributed a book called "The Transition: Every Athlete's Guide to Life After Sports." It is intended to help manage student competitors' progress into a world after sports. Tennant's encounters in the wake of resigning from volleyball and progressing to be an "ordinary student" urged her to assist different competitors with their own changes.
In December 2019, Tennant requested the termination of her rape claim against Sacramento Kings coach Luke Walton. The official request didn't include any reason for the purpose behind the excusal. Tennant sued Walton in April 2019, not long after he turned into the Kings' coach. Tennant asserted that Walton assaulted her when he was an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, which was from 2014 to 2016. She said she never pressed charges since she was terrified.
She said Walton kept on irritating her after he became coach of the Lakers and she was working as a broadcaster in Los Angeles for Spectrum SportsNet and SportsNet LA. Walton's lawyers had reacted to the claim with a recording that denied all charges.
