Dominique Jones, was born on December 3, 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia. Lil Baby was just 2 years of age when his father left the family, leaving his single parent to raise him and his 2 siblings. While he was not struggling scholastically, Jones would more than once get stuck in an unfortunate situation. His troubles led to him dropping out of secondary school in the tenth grade.
In the middle of 2012, he was accused for possession of drugs and intent to distribute among other different charges. His personal legal counselor encouraged him to take a 2-year plea bargain. Jones refused and gained another legal advisor to fight his case. This new legal counselor set Jones in an exceptional program that would just hold him for a year. While in this program, he got into a quarrel with a white detainee over racial remarks. From that point forward, Jones' prison was supplanted with the first 2-year plea bargain.
