Liv Hewson's acting career gained traction after they traveled to Los Angeles in 2014 for an acting workshop. Two years later, they landed the lead role of Claire Duncan in the fantasy web series Dramaworld (2016), which was a co-production between South Korea and the United States. The series garnered attention for its cross-cultural narrative and Hewson’s compelling performance.
In 2017, they appeared in the teen drama film Before I Fall. That same year, they had recurring roles in the second season of the critically acclaimed series Top of the Lake and in Marvel’s miniseries Inhumans.
