Liz Wheeler is a conservative American journalist, author, and former television host known for her commentary on political and cultural issues. She was born in 1989 in Sharonville, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. From a young age, Wheeler expressed a strong interest in politics and began sharing her views through blogging during her high school years. One of her early blog posts, titled “Erring on the Side of Life,” addressed the topic of abortion.
Wheeler pursued higher education at Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Homeland Security. Her academic work reflected her growing interest in public policy, government, and national security issues.
While still in college, Wheeler served on the Board of Zoning Appeals for her hometown in Ohio, becoming the youngest person in the city's history to hold that position. This early experience in local governance further fueled her passion for public service and conservative politics.
She also co-authored a book titled Young, Conservative, and Why It's Smart to Be Like Us along with thirteen other young Americans. The book reached number two on Amazon’s Kindle bestseller list in the civics category, showcasing her early success in political commentary and conservative advocacy.
In 2011, Wheeler joined RecruitMilitary, a job placement service for American military veterans, where she worked as a social media manager. Her role there reflected her continued commitment to supporting veterans and conservative causes.
Wheeler gained greater national visibility as an on-air host at One America News Network (OANN), a conservative television channel. Through her platform, she became known for discussing limited government, individual liberty, national security, and cultural conservatism. She frequently speaks at Republican and conservative conferences across the country, focusing on youth engagement and government policy.
Liz Wheeler married her longtime boyfriend in September 2017. While she keeps much of her personal life private, she continues to balance her professional work with her family commitments.
