Lorri Bagley was born on August 5, 1973, in Dallas, Texas. She began modeling at the age of fourteen and quickly gained recognition in Europe, working with prestigious fashion houses such as Dior, Chanel, and Issey Miyake. Bagley also modeled for Victoria's Secret for five years, further establishing her reputation in the fashion industry.
Her early television appearance came in 1982 when she featured on Late Night with David Letterman, an appearance that marked one of her initial steps into the entertainment world.
Bagley’s transition from modeling to acting was influenced in part by director Francis Ford Coppola, who encouraged her after she auditioned for his 1992 film Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Although she did not appear in the film, his encouragement inspired her to pursue acting more seriously.
She gained wider recognition with her role in the 1995 comedy Tommy Boy, where she appeared alongside comedian Chris Farley. The two were briefly romantically involved prior to Farley's passing in 1997.
Lorri Bagley's acting credits include supporting roles in several films such as Kingpin (1996), Celebrity (1998), Trick (1999), Mickey Blue Eyes (1999), and The Stepford Wives (2004). Her diverse filmography demonstrates her versatility across comedy and drama genres.
Bagley also found success on television, notably appearing in 22 episodes of the sitcom Veronica’s Closet, which aired from 1997 to 2000. In 2002, she expanded into voice acting, lending her voice to a character in the animated family film Ice Age.
Bagley’s personal and professional connection with comedian Chris Farley remains a notable aspect of her biography. The two met during the filming of Tommy Boy and dated briefly before Farley’s death in December 1997 due to a drug overdose at the age of 33.
In 2015, Bagley participated in the documentary I Am Chris Farley, a film that offered insight into Farley's life and legacy through interviews with friends, family, and colleagues. Her contribution to the film provided a personal perspective, reflecting on their time together and his influence in the comedy world.
