Michael Gambino is the head coach of the Boston College Eagles baseball team. He previously served as an assistant at Boston College from 2003-2005 and Virginia Tech from 2007-2010. He also scouted for the Detroit Tigers. He was ultimately appointed to head coach in July 19, 2010. His score was 17-33 in his first year. After playing college baseball at Boston College from 1997-2000, he played two seasons of minor league baseball under the Boston Red Sox as an undrafted free agent. His batting record was .235/.306/.298 with 32 runs and 29 RBI in 77 games as a professional player. His overall coaching record at Boston College is currently 177-248.
