<p><a href="/biography/nate-reuss">Nathaniel Joseph Ruess</a> was born on February 26, 1982 in Iowa City, Iowa. He is known as an American singer-songwriter. He is currently the lead <a href="/biography/nate-reuss">singer</a> of the indie pop band Fun. He was also previously the lead singer of the band, The Format. In 2015, he also started to perform solo.</p>

<p>His parents were Larry Ruess and Bess Zinger. He is the youngest of two children, his sister was named Elizabeth. He got his performing genes from his uncle, John Ruess, who was a performer on Broadway and mentored Nate through his career.</p>

<p>Ruess played during the 1st period intermission at the NHL Winter Classic in Foxboro, MA during the 2016 NHL season. He made a music video for his track "Take It Back" which featured famous <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Fischler">actor</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Fischler">Patrick Fischler</a>.</p>

<p>He began dating Charlotte Ronson in 2014. Charlotte is a beautiful English fashion designer. They had their first baby in 2016, a son named Levon Ronson-Ruess. The happy family currently resides in Manhattan, New York.</p>
