Sharon Case was born in the year 1979, on the 9th of February. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, in the United States of America, but she moved with her family to Chatsworth, California when she was only three years old. Education
As a little girl, Sharon was devoted to learning ballet and jazz. Her parents encouraged her, having her take classes. During her teenage years, when she was still in high school, Sharon knew that she wanted to join the entertainment branch, so thinking that having career in modeling would make a good start for her career, she became a model.
Career Experiences
Sharon Case first entered the branch at the age of 17, when she was still a teenager. She started working as a model in Japan. Sharon was noticed by a modeling scout who was looking for new talents and thought Case would make a perfect match. In 1988, her modeling career started. After five months of working in Japan, she got back to Los Angeles. Soon, she realized that acting career is what she wanted, so she tried as an actress, succeeding in getting her first roles to the theatre stage.

The first roles Sharon had were lead roles in musicals: The Wizard, Grease and The Nutcracker. Later on, she brought her acting talent to the television. Sharon Case’s first role was on the well known TV show General Hospital, broadcasted on ABC. She got a part where she played Dawn Winthrop. She started working on the show in November of 1989. After a year, in 1992, having her career slowly blooming, Sharon Case got a role in one of the CBS’ drama shows – a soap opera named As the World Turns. This was her second role as a soap opera actress and she ended up working on the show for one year, till the year 1993. Her role in the series, as a character named Debbie, was as she claims very interesting and challenging for her as for an actor. Her character had maniac depression being part of the profile, which Sharon found very interesting and groundbreaking regarding the world of soap operas. She claimed she found the role really interesting given that maniac depression as a problem was never covered on daily television.
In the meantime, while she was working on the show, Sharon also appeared on CBS’s Silk Stalkings, one of CBS’s crime series. She appeared as a character named Bonnie Abagail. Sharon left the show As the World Turns in 1994, but was not left without a new role waiting for her. She became a regular character on the soap opera named Valley of Dolls. Three years after, in 1997, Sharon got a role in a film, produced and made by HBO, Breast Men. There was a large role in the movie waiting for her as offered by HBO, but she turned down the role as she didn’t feel comfortable with nudity scenes where she was supposed to get topless in front of the camera. Still, she got a smaller part in the film.
Sharon Case accepted another role in a film Carpool Guy. She took a part in this independent film in 2005 with her colleague actress from the Young and Restless, along with getting another role in the movie titled Wentworth in the same year. Sharon Case got a double part in Wentworth as the movie was about a man named Wentworth who was given a choice between a dream woman and a real life woman, looking for the perfect girl. Both characters were played by Sharon Case.
Two years later, in 2007, Case got a part in her first short movie ever. The film was named Repressions where she starred side by side with Debra Hopkins. According to independent movie critics, Sharon’s acting performance was welcomed with ovations. Jesse Friedman, an Oscar nominee also joined the praising directed towards Sharon Case, encouraging people to watch the film. After Repressions, Sharon got back to filming another show. This time, it was the web series named Poor Paul.
In 2009, she appeared in one episode in this short comedy. One year later, Sharon starred in Dad’s Home for the Hallmark Channel – she got the female lead part in this romantic comedy, starring as Hope. One of the biggest roles in her life was playing Sharon Newman in Young and Restless.
