Shelby Holliday is a broadcast journalist who has covered political news for FOX News and FOX business network and currently works for the Wall Street Journal. Shelby Holliday was born on December 11, 1985, in Denver, Colorado. Shelby Holliday attended Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado; after graduation, Shelby Holliday went on to pursue a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in business administration at the University of San Diego. While in college, Shelby was an active member of the Alpha Phi Sorority and wrote the monthly newsletter.
Shelby Holliday began her career in journalism at the college news network UWIRE where she covered both political and business news. In 2008, Shelby Holliday lived in Columbus, Ohio and covered the 2008 election including the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. She also reported on the Kentucky Derby, New York’s Fashion Week and the Sundance Film Festival. Shelby was an anchor and reporter for Channel One News and covered international events including the funeral of Nelson Mandela, the military tribunals at Guantanamo Bay and Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Shelby Holliday has been a senior video reporter for the Wall Street Journal in the New York City area since September of 2015.
