Shelby Holliday is an American broadcast journalist known for her political and business reporting. She was born on December 11, 1985, in Denver, Colorado. She attended Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado. After graduating, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. During her time in college, Holliday was an active member of the Alpha Phi sorority and contributed to its monthly newsletter.
Holliday began her journalism career with UWIRE, a college news network, where she covered both political and business news. In 2008, she was based in Columbus, Ohio, and reported extensively on that year's presidential election, including coverage of both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
