Timothy John is an American fashion stylist and businessman. He is known for being the founder and owner of his own famous service establishment called Timothy John’s Salon. The self named salon serves customers in the major metropolis of New York City. Keeping in line with the nature of his main business, Timothy is also the owner of his own spa which is also named after him. Timothy John’s Salon Spa serves customers with relaxing experiments and beauty enhancements under a nationally recognized brand name. Timothy grew his brand awareness by having an all star client list full of famous actors and television personalities.
Timothy John was born during the middle of the 70s. It was an era that was the birth of hippie vibes and funky groves. Although there isn’t much information available on Timothy’s personal life such as his upbringing and education, the one that is known about him is his undeniable fashion sense. He always had an undying interest in fashion and through years of experience, he was able to become a highly sought after professional stylist.
His first step into the world of fashion was in the early 90s. He joined at a time where fashion was about to become a huge industry. With the addition of broadcast television being introduced to every home, there was a larger audience for fashion companies and icons to reach. Timothy began his journey by serving as an assistant in a salon. It was a great opportunity for the young specialist, because Intercoiffure was a world-renowned hairdressing association. There was no better company for Timothy to start with. Timothy trained there for three years in a row gaining tons of “on the floor” experience. Timothy’s tenure as an assistant allowed him precious hours to learn and master each technique in hairstyling. The lessons Timothy learned would allow him to become an excellent master of his own craft.
After graduating from his assistant role, Timothy decided to move to the Wisconsin to pursue his career of becoming a professional stylist. He had gotten enough positive feedback to know that this was his calling. He did not want to do anything else in his life but continue on his path. He had big dreams and wanted to create and operate his own salon. Timothy took a huge step when he opened his first location.
He took a risk and started Timothy John’s Salon in Wisconsin. His new business offered wide services in the fashion industry including hairstyling, massage and nails. Timothy was wise to open his shop in the business district of downtown Milwaukee, which was a huge reason for the shop’s success. If Timothy had decided to lower costs by opening in a small town of Wisconsin, the salon would have not had many customers. People living in smaller towns of the Mid West don’t have enough income to spend money at a salon. The city atmosphere of downtown Milwaukee was more equipped to attract customers to a salon because of the higher income and working transplants from other states.
During his first six years of operation, Timothy continued training alongside his creative team of stylists. Timothy never wanted to stop learning and decided that the team needed to learn advanced hair cutting and color techniques. He was able to partner with big fashion companies like Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy, Goldwell, and Aveda. The well respected fashion companies offered classes exclusively to stylists who already had respected experience in the industry.

The great success of Timothy’s first salon signaled the next step in his career. At the end of 90s, he decided to move to New York City. As much as he loved living in Wisconsin, Timothy knew that he had to go to the fashion hot spot to evolve. He wasn’t going to become famous if he kept doing what he was doing in the mid west. He needed to move to a huge city to really capture the attention of important people. New York was the perfect city for Timothy to really test his fashion sense.
There was no way Timothy was going to be able to open a salon in New York quickly. He would have to start over again and earn his way by working for others first. Timothy started to work as a professional stylist for a salon in midtown New York. At that time, he started searching for famous actors, successful business people and other celebrities as clients. Timothy was smart and knew that he had to exploit the power that famous people have. Just by word of mouth, his business would explode if he was able to land a few rich and beautiful clients. It only took Timothy two years to build a strong clientele list. His success enabled him to open his own salon in New York which was one of his biggest goals.
The new salon opened under the leadership of his friend David Spangenthal in the autumn of the 2001. Timothy kept his pattern from Milwaukee in New York and decided to name the salon after himself. Timothy was able to gather and attract a team of extremely professional stylists with whom he could trust. He needed a talented team that he could count on to style his popular and successful clients
Timothy’s professional experience was built on almost 25 years of practice. He is known for bringing his clientele a divers and personal approach to their color and style needs. Timothy is an excellent and proficient master at both color and cutting. With his unique talents, he was involved in many television, movie and Broadway productions as a great designer and stylist. He is always thrilled to celebrate his many years owning and operating his popular salon in New York City.
Even though there is a lack of information on Timothy’s personal life, the media speculates that he is single and they are unsure of his sexuality. His total net worth is also unknown and kept private. In his spare time he likes cycling.
