Tisha Campbell is an American <a href="/biography/tisha-campbell">singer</a> and an actress, famously known for her role in ‘My Wife and Kids’ as Jay on ABC, and ‘<a href="/biography/martin-lawrence">Martin</a>’ as Gina on FOX. Others may also know her for her album, ‘Tisha’.

Campbell’s acting career

Campbell’s acting career started at a mere age of 6, when she starred in an episode of ‘The Big Blue Marble’ in 1974. She continued to showcase her talents and even winning awards for them. She continued to appear in various other children’s shows such as ‘Kids Are People Too’, ‘Unicorn Tales’ and ‘Captain Kangaroo’. Her time with ‘<a href="/biography/martin-lawrence">Martin</a>’ costar, <a href="/biography/tichina-arnold">Tichina Arnold</a>, started long before the said show came along. At the age of 18, Campbell and Arnold performed in a musical feature film.

TV shows and feature films weren’t her only gigs. She starred in various music videos, the most famous ones being Will Smith’s ‘Will 2K’ and ‘Wild Wild West’.

However, Tisha was not impressed by the relationship and she went on to date Duane, her now husband with whom she has two kids. It is said that <a href="/biography/martin-lawrence">Lawrence</a> could not stand the fact that his girlfriend got engaged to another man and so started bad mouthing her boyfriend and made her life miserable on set. It was said that the only way Tisha had to keep <a href="/biography/martin-lawrence">Lawrence</a> away from her was the sexual harassment accusation. When things between Tisha and <a href="/biography/martin-lawrence">Lawrence</a> got bad, he went on to marry his wife, Patricia. He thought that this would kindle jealously in Tisha, but he was wrong.

Tisha’s romantic escapades

Tisha was said to have a romantic relationship with a lot of co-stars before and after her marriage. There were a lot of rumors about Tisha’s divorce. It was said that Tisha was having a relationship with <a href="/biography/martin-lawrence">Lawrence</a> even after her wedding. This urged Duane into separation. It was said that Duane sold all his houses to make sure that he does not give away any to his former spouse. However, these were all speculations.

Another reason that is blamed for their separation was her secret love relationship with another woman. Tisha and Nguyen Orange were said to have been involved in a secret relationship. It was said that Tisha informed that she wanted to get separated to Duane and went on a romantic getaway with Orange.

Things took a turn for the worst when the Campbell and her husband filed for bankruptcy, claiming that they only have a total of $313,000 assets between them. They said that the sum of both their monthly incomes is $7,655 but their expenses total to more than double of their inflows. Upon the release of rumors that Campbell and her husband are hiding money, the trustee handling their case filed a law suit claiming that they had hidden such details, saying that they created a shell company to hide their earnings.

Involvement of the <a href="/biography/jada-pinkett-smith">Smith</a>’s in the life of Campbell didn’t end there. Will and <a href="/biography/jada-pinkett-smith">Jada Smith</a> have been caught up in the weave that is Campbell’s bankruptcy. Allegedly, the transfer of Campbell and Duane’s house to a family member was sponsored by the Smiths. It was shown that 100 percent of the money used to transfer the property was of the Smiths. It wasn’t as simple as just finding out, though. It is said that the funding was provided by a third party called Treyball, which upon further analysis is a company owned by Will and <a href="/biography/jada-pinkett-smith">Jada Smith</a>.

Other speculations

Things started to get worse and Duane wanted Tisha to get rid of Orange to stop the rumors. However, instead it was said that Tisha wanted to get separated from Duane and went to Jamaica with Orange. It was said that she got separated from Duane and is preparing for the legal separation. However, it is almost two years and there is no official news about their separation.

After the rumor, there were no news about the relationship between Tisha and Orange. The marital status of Duane and Tisha is also not known. None of the parties involved is ready to provide a clear comment on what is going on in their life. Thus, it is assumed that the whole story was just a rumor and things are going smooth between Duane and Tisha.
