Background and Age

Elise Neal was born on March 14, 1966 in Memphis Tennessee. Neal’s mother was a nurse and her father was a construction worker in Memphis. She said her courage and fortitude originate from her mother and older sister. After her mom was working as a nurse for a few years, she returned to school with the goal that she could start teaching nursing.

From 1984 to 1988, she studied creative and performing arts in Overtone High School. She later went to Philadelphia for her college education. After leaving college within two years, she went to New York City looking for her career start in acting.

She started as a dancer with musical theatrical companies that roamed in many cities. This profession didn’t limit Neal to work only within America, she traveled around the world with these companies and worked in many music videos. While working as a ballet dancer with musical companies, she successfully made the transition into a modeling career. She came to Los Angles hoping for launching herself as a model.

Career and Age

Elise Neal danced in the background of a music video for Chubb Rock called “Just Two of Us”. This was one of the earliest works of her career. She also worked in “This is it”, the music video for Minogue. The song was taken from Minogue's second album Get into You. In the early nineties, this album was an international hit.

She played the role of Janice Sinclair, in a soap opera called “Loving”, broadcasted on ABC. Her first primetime role was fighter pilot Lieutenant J.J Fredericks in Seaquest 2032.

She got her fame due to her role as Yvonne Hughley in a sitcom called The Hughleys. It was aired from 1998 to 2000. It was during the Hughleys when she was picked as the lead role of Hallie in Scream 2, a horror movie. Rosewood, Paid in Full, Restaurant, Paid in Full, and Mission to Mars are other famous movies in the film credits of Elise Neal.

Elise hs also appeared in TV reality shows like Real Husbands of Hollywood and Hollywood Divas. When asked if she liked reality TV over scripted TV, Elise said, "I like both. I was just talking to somebody about this. My favorite reality show is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s just inspirational, let’s just keep it real. Those women are balling out. They have amazing homes, they have amazing careers, and they’re really kind of untouchable."

Neal has been nominated for the Black Reel Awards, Image Awards, and Screen Actor Guild Awards. She got two nominations for outstanding lead actress for her role on The Hughleys.

Relationships

Elise Neal was in a relationship with Rick Ross from 2010 to 2011. Then she was in a relationship with F. Gary Gary. The couple dated for two months before calling it quits. It is rumored that 50 Cent was also Neal’s boyfriend.
