Emilia Fox is an English actress who was born on July 31, 1974, in Hammersmith, London, England. Fox comes from a family of theatrical performers with both her mother, Joanna David, and her father, Edward Fox, earning their livings as actors. Three of her cousins and her uncle have also enjoyed successful acting careers. She attended the Bryanston School in Dorset where she learned to play the cello, piano, and trumpet. Fox went on to attend St. Catherine's College in Oxford. She made her film debut in Roman Polanski's film "The Pianist" and went on to obtain a number of successful roles in films including "The Soul Keeper" in 2002, "The Republic of Love" in 2003, and "Things to Do Before You're 30" in 2005. Fox was engaged to comedian Vic Reeves but the couple broke off the engagement in 2000. She went on to date Toby Mott but again this relationship would not last.
She eventually married British actor Jared Harris in July of 2005 but they separated just three years later finalized the divorced in 2010. The divorce is said to be the result of a miscarriage and the strain of a long distance relationship. Fox went on to date actor Jeremy Gilley and in November of 2010, she gave birth to a baby girl named Rose.
