Emily Rose was born on February 2, 1981, in Renton, Washington, United States. Raised as the eldest of three siblings, she took on a leadership role early in life, helping her parents care for her younger brother and sister in their close-knit family home.
She attended high school in Seattle, where her talent for performing was first noticed by a talent agent. Encouraged to pursue a professional acting career, she moved to Los Angeles to study acting more intensively.
