Whenever we talk about Eric Wynalda, we always remember him as a former football player. He had a reasonably successful career as a soccer player. While all this might be great news for news channels and paparazzi, there is no doubt it has not done any good to the sport as a whole. USA came back empty handed with not even a single win to show. Had Harkes and Amy been a bit more careful about their relationships, it might have shown on the football ground.
