Erik Asla is a commercial and fashion photographer who was born on December 4, 1973, in Norway. Little information is available about his early years or immediate family. Asla is a tall and handsome caucasian who stands at 6 feet 3 inches with blonde hair and blue eyes. As he grew older, Asla moved to Paris, France before moving to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in photography. He was quickly recognized for his talent and hired as a photo assistant of the highly celebrated fashion photographer Herb Ritts. Asla gained a massive amount of knowledge while working as an assistant for Herb Ritts, both in terms of his professional career and in his personal life.
