When Garrett was interviewed and asked about his favorite horror movie, the young horror movie star replied saying that it was "The Shining". He even added that it was the path to insanity and how it progressed in the character of Jack Nicholson is what he loved the most. In addition to this, he announced that the most memorable actor he has ever worked with was Peter Bergman. He played the role of Garrett's father in "The Young and the Restless". He said that he helped him a lot during the show and even after that and described him as one of the nicest guys he had ever met.
When Garrett was asked about the role that he truly wanted to play but didn't get a chance yet, he said that he has always wanted to play the role of an insane man. He admitted that it would be very challenging to him but also very interesting.
