Jocelyn Flores was a young model who inwardly struggled with depression and committed suicide in 2017. Jocelyn visited the rapper XXXTentacion (Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy) just before she took her own life. XXXTentacion was saddened by her suicide and wrote a song called Jocelyn Flores which is the second single from his studio album 17. Jocelyn Amparo Flores was born on July 2, 2000 in The Bronx, New York City, New York. It has been reported that Jahseh had become infatuated with Jocelyn after seeing her pictures on social media and invited her to his home state of Florida to work as a model for his clothing line, known as Revenge. Flores and another girl were staying at Jahseh’s home and money went missing; each girl blamed the other and Jahseh, concerned that the incident would escalate, expelled both girls from his home.
Jocelyn left the house, checked into the Hampton Inn in Coconut Creek shortly before midnight, and was discovered dead in the morning, an apparent suicide victim. Jahseh was shot dead, less than a year later, in June of 2018, prompting some on social media to remark that he had been reunited with Jocelyn. The song “Jocelyn Flores” reached number nineteen on the Billboard charts.
