Josh Donaldson is an American professional who plays as third baseman from Toronto Blue Jays in MLB. He was drafted first to join Chicago Cubs after MLB draft of 2007 and he was playing in Auburn University in the college period. He also played for the Oakland athletics and made the debut for his team in the year 2010. He worked with the team for a long period and he ended up becoming All-Star of MLB Season in 2014.

According to his biography, after being traded to join Toronto Blue Jays, he was voted to be American League Most Valuable Player in 2015 MLB season. He became first Blue Jay player who became MVP from the time George Bell won this award in the year 1987. He became starter of 2015 MLB All-Star Game and he earned most fan votes that have been gotten by the player during that time. He also got a Silver Slugger Award.

Josh Donaldson was born in the city of Pensacola in Florida and went to Pace High School in the city of Pace in Florida. During the sophomore time, he was playing for varsity baseball and he was transferred by the mother to study at Faith Academy in the city of Mobile in Alabama. While at school, he was competing in baseball, basketball and football.

As a pitcher and a shortstop, he became Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year when he was in senior school and he batted .515 in that season. He helped Faith Academy to reach to the state title. His stats at school are RBIs, 54, Double 21, triples 6 and baseball. In the football, he was defensive back; punter and wide receiver and he set the record as a senior to make 11 interceptions during a season.

Josh Donaldson did not grow up with both parents but mostly with his mother Lisa French. His father called Levon Donaldson was imprisoned throughout his childhood. He was a construction worker and got sentenced in the year 1992 when he was charged aggravated battery, false imprisonment and sexual battery. He was released in the year 2007. He likes also to play golf and when he was 18 months old, he appeared at TV station when he was showing a perfect golf swing and he appeared on Golf Channel in the year 2014 season and he hit the ball in 309 yards in the simulator. He came to learn about his trade to Toronto Blue Jays when he was watching Golf Channel and also playing Mortal Kombat.

He is in relationship with his girlfriend, Jillian Rose. He suffered a calf injury that made him to be out of the game at the start of 2017 for some weeks.
