Julie Bandaras is a television news anchor and correspondent for Fox News Channel. She is currently associated with America’s News Headquarters, which airs on Saturdays, as well as Fox Report Weekend. Born to Fabiola R., a native of Colombia, and Howard D. Bidwell, Julie grew up alongside her sister, Melissa. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Emerson College. Julie has no other siblings.

Julie began her broadcasting career at WLVI-TV in Boston, Massachusetts. She later worked as a local news anchor at WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Her early career established the groundwork for her eventual national presence in the news industry.

Julie Bandaras joined Fox News Channel in 2005 as a general assignment reporter. She gained international attention in 2006 following a widely reported on-air exchange with Shirley Phelps-Roper, a spokesperson for the controversial Westboro Baptist Church.
