She later dated actor and former football player Carl Weathers briefly. In 1986, Kathie Lee married former NFL player and sportscaster Frank Gifford. The couple had two children together: a son, Cody, born in 1990, and a daughter, Cassidy, born in 1993. Cassidy Gifford has since pursued a career in acting. Frank Gifford passed away in 2015 at the age of 84.
