Kellie was born on 13th April, 1968, in South Carolina, USA. She attended Florence Christian High school. She graduated in 1984 and then attended Liberty University where she had a scholarship for one year, when the scholarship ran out, she went back home. She attended Francis Marion University for one semester then dropped, she said he hated it so much that she couldn't stay. After dropping out of college, she worked for her parents, who owned a shoe store and a Western wear business. She made a promise to her mother to finish her education, she kept the promise by receiving her bachelor's of arts degree in English from Francis Marion in 1993.
Career:
Kellie wanted to be a sitcom actress since she was young, she signed up for acting lessons at Valdotti's School of Modeling, it wasn't an acting school, however, it was the only place in town that offered anything close to acting. She went to a convention in Myrtle Beach, SC, to be seen by agents from across the country and was offered a deal as a plus-sized model. She was noticed by the owner of a local radio station who thought she could fit for a radio job. She used to shadow another host and got paid only if she replaces her. After four months, the news girl quit and Kellie got her job the morning show. After a friend saw an ad about Kidd Kraddick, she went to the audition and got the job. And thus was the beginning of the Kraddick/Rasberry Chemistry.
Kellie is a many-times winner of Favorite Female Radio Personality of the year. As for her movie roles, she had a small part in “Holiday In Your Heart,” which was a TV movie.
Charity:
Among her charitable endeavors, Kellie is a member of a charity that takes children who suffered tragedy or diseases as well as members of their family on a paid trip to Disney World. She also supports various animal charities in the Dallas area.
Personal life:
She got engaged to Freddie Poole in 2003. They got married and was expecting a child in 2006 when they got separated, she was six months pregnant with her daughter, Emma then. She never talked about the reason for the divorce.
She spent an entire show with Kidd talking about her dating life. She talked about all her dates in the past. She said that she likes to share her personal problems with the listeners of the show. She said that it is common for most of men to leave their girlfriend or wife while she is pregnant.
She said that Freddie used to complain that Kellie was the reason they were not in New York. There were reports that Kellie stalked one of her boyfriends after they broke up.
