From his biography, he is a son of Drederick with Elizabeth and he is a step-son to Shetelia Irving. He has older sister called Asia and a sister called London. His father was playing college basketball in the City of Boston University together with Shawn Teague and under the coach Rick Pitino. When he finished the college career, the father went to live in Australia where he was playing professionally in Bulleen Boomers team. He lived in Kew before going back in United States when Kyrie Irving was 2 years. He has now two citizenships which are Australia and United States. His mother died when he was only 4 years and he was raised by the help of his aunts.

H Kyrie Irving grew up in the city of New Jersey in the West Orange and he liked to attend to adult league games of his father. He was inspiring to play for NBA after playing for Continental Airlines Arena. When he was in the fourth grade, he stated that one day, he will play for NBA and he also played for Road Runners under Amateur Athletic Union.

Kyrie Irving played as a freshman and also as a sophomore at Montclair Kimberley Academy. In the first eight games for the season, he reached to 17.4 points for each game. He was making himself known in this season but in 9th season, he suffered the ligament injury and it was too severe. Kyrie Irving had to forego the final three seasons so that he can be eligible to enter into 2011 NBA draft. He was chosen as a number one pick of Cleveland Cavaliers and he signed the contract with Cleveland Cavaliers together with Tristan Thompson. The two were name to the Rising Stars Challenge. He played for Chuck and he was playing for Shaq Team.

Kyrie Irving likes to read and to keep journal. He likes to dance, and to sing while he plays Baritone Sax. He took over the role of the Uncle Drew in Pepsi Max Advertisement. His girlfriend was R&B singer Kehlani but they break up when it was found out that she cheated on him. His baby mother is Andrea Wilson.
