Lori Nelson was born in 1933 on August 15th, and had a career as a model and actress for the American entertainment scene. She began her career very early, at the age of two, in local theatre productions. When she was only 4 years of age, she moved to Encino California. A year later at the age of 5, she won the title of Little Miss America. She acted at local theatres and also modeled for photographers throughout her childhood.

At the age of 7, a horrible fever left her disabled for four years, and her activities came to a halt. Quickly after she recovered from the illness she returned to performing for pageants and won the title of Miss Encino at the age of 17. She has parts in film and television throughout her life, including the western film of Bend of the River, and Creature from the Black Lagoon. She has married twice and had two daughters with her first marriage.
