Background and Age

Thomas Luther Luke Bryan was born in 1976. Bryan comes from a humble background. His father was a peanut farmer in rural Georgia and Luke grew up living the country lifestyle that would later become the inspiration for much of his music. Unfortunately, he lost his elder brother, Chris, very early in his life, due to an unfortunate car accident. This almost ended his music career before it began. For a period of time, he was content helping his father on the peanut farm and singing for a few hours at a time in local bars.

Luke was raised listening to his parents' favorite musical artists, such as George Strait and Conway Twitty. These artists provided inspiration to Luke and started his love of country music. He began playing guitar when he was in high school and he developed his songwriting and performing abilities until he became the talented artist that his fans know and love today.

Marriage, Wife, and Kids

Luke got married to Caroline Boyer in 2006. They fell in love after meeting during their years together at Georgia Southern University. They have two sons together. Their first son, Thomas was born in 2008, and Tatum was born in 2010. In 2007, tragedy struck Luke's family. His older sister passed away unexpectedly, due to an unknown cause. Just seven years later, her husband also passed away, leaving Luke and his wife Caroline to raise their nephew Tilden.

Hobbies

Luke Bryan still enjoys many of the same activities he grew up doing, such as hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. These hobbies continue to inspire his music. Luke Bryan is also very generous, donating both his time and money to causes that are important to him, including City of Hope, St. Jude's, Make A Wish, and the Red Cross.

Career and Net Worth

Eventually, Luke Bryan moved to Nashville to pursue music and find success as a songwriter. Not content to stay behind the scenes, Bryan began performing and his first hit song "All My Friends Say" catapulted him to stardom. He has achieved great financial success throughout his career, with an estimated net worth of around $70 million.

Earlier in his career, he toured as the supporting act for some of the biggest names in country music, like Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, and Lady Antebellum. He has also headlined five major tours, with his most recent tour "Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day" selling out several of the arenas he played.
