Mark Haines was born on 19th April in the year 1946. He spent his childhood at Oyster Bay in New York. Then he was taken to Monmouth County in New Jersey. His life’s changing and great turn came when, he graduated from the ‘Denison University’ and the ‘University of Pennsylvania law School.’ Also, he joined the ‘New Jersey Bar Association’ for membership.

CNBC channel broadcasted the news that Mark Haines died in the evening of 24th May, 2011.
In his house, he lived with his beautiful wife, Cindy, a daughter, and a son; whom he loved a lot. He was happy in his married life with his family. Never the rumors of having any girlfriend or having any affair came his way.
Sources say that he passed away just due to cardiomegaly and failure of his heart. But, this wasn’t approved by the pathologists. On 25th May, as the TV market opened, Mark was the new anchor for ‘KYW-TV’ news in Philadelphia, ‘WPRI-TV’ in Rhode Island’ and ‘WABC-TV’ in New York. It is stated that that Mark Hanes was Cary Grant’s favorite TV reporter.

He on- air, broke the news of the attacks of 11 September. Mark also offered a financial section in his show ‘Morning Joe’, early to the market opens each day on the channel MSNBC's.
