Early Life

Megan Henderson grew up in the southern parts of the state of California. She has always showed great interest towards journalism and her talent was noticed early on. She went to the local Corona High School and later on attended the Arizona State University. She got her bachelor’s degree from the university and her specialization was broadcast journalism. It was then certain that she is definitely going to pursue her lifelong dream to become a competitive journalist.

Professional career

Her broadcast career kicked off in the town of Wichita Falls in the state of Texas. She started working for the CBS as well as NBC affiliates. She anchored a morning show called Good Day Utah in the Salt Lake City where she had huge success. This impacted her reputation and she was soon asked to join the number one rated morning show in the United States of America called Good Day. She got the job in Dallas and the she began working for KDFW which was an affiliate of Fox. That was back in 2003.

She effectively spent about 5 years working at KDFW and in 2008 she showed up as a guest-host on numerous episodes of Fox & Friends.

However, Megan Henderson is currently working at KTLA studio. She leads the morning news in Los Angeles in the state of California. She is also known to be an incredibly active person. As such she is attending a variety of charitable events and organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which went to become one of the most successive campaigns with charitable intent. She is also a part of the Race for the Cure campaign which is specifically designated to help develop proper cancer treatments.

Back in 2014, on the 17th of March, while the celebrations of Saint Patrick’s Day took place, Los Angeles was shook by a 4.4 earthquake. Meanwhile Megan was hosting her morning show and when the quake hit, she and her colleague hid under the desk.
