Melissa Magee is an American meteorologist currently working for 6 ABC Action News, WPVI-TV, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a minor in French. During her studies, she spent a summer abroad in Paris, which helped her become fluent in French.

The transition from the mild weather of California to Nebraska's colder climate, where winter temperatures frequently dip into the teens, showcased her adaptability.
