Michael Buffer is known as an American sports ring broadcaster for boxing and pro wrestling matches. He is most famous for his trademarked catchphrase, "Let’s get ready to rumble" and for spearheading an unmistakable reporting style in which he rolls certain letters and adds different intonations to a fighter's name.

Michael Buffer was born on November 2, 1944 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Buffer was brought up by a member of the United States Navy and his significant other during World War II.

His folks separated from when he was 11 months of age, and Buffer was then raised by foster parents, a school transport driver and housewife, in the Philadelphia suburb of Roslyn. He enrolled in the United States Army amid the Vietnam War at age 20 and served until age 23. He held different occupations including a vehicle sales rep, at that point started a modeling career at age 32, He then preceding turning into a sports ring host at age 38.

Career

In 1982, Buffer started his career as a ring commentator. By 1983, he was reporting all bouts promoted by Bob Arum's Top Rank on ESPN, which gave him a national character when ring broadcasters were entirely privately contracted talent. By 1984, Buffer built up the catchphrase “Let’s get ready to rumble " in his announcing, which increased gigantic prominence among the sports world.
