Born on January 6, 1981 in Houston, Texas, United States, Mike is a popular figure in Houston even in 2016, which is still surprising given Hip-Hop progress post 05. Anyway, we must agree that Mike is a professional rapper with a good lyrical flow and a unique voice. But when are his fans getting some new innovative stuff from him? As of 2016, fans are rooting for him to be the rapper who he was in 2005. Despite his small controversies (such as punched by Trae at the 2008 Ozone Awards, his relationship issues and controversy regarding his Ice Age chain jacked by his homie), the rapper is still present on the Hip Hop map. However, he didn't give up. He started to take on jobs to support his living and he also continued his school days habit of rapping on the side.  After taking on many restaurants jobs he decided to do something else and this is when he started working at a Compaq plant. During this time, he met his soon to be business partner Antonie Drive .T. Brown.

Brown and Antonie are now partners in several financial ventures. But they even sold cell phones and dime bag back then.

Talking about his musical career, the southern rapper rose to prominence in 2005 with the hits likes of "Back Then (Jive/Warner Bros) and "Still Tippin (Swisahouse record label, collaborated with fellow rappers Slim Thug and Paul Wall)". 2005 proved to be golden year for him as his second album Who Is Mike Jones? Reached the double platinum level. Prior to the golden year, he had already formed his own  independent label called Ice Age Entertainment (2001).

Because of his popular solo career under Ice age, he turned out to be a popular local rapper distributing his music on streets and also on DJ's at strip club. Before pursuing a solo career, he was associated with musical group called Soul Folk. Soul Folk and Mike released then locally popular album Country Thuggin in 2003.

Anyway, none of his album has been able to breakout as Who IS Mike Jones? Still, his other notable album include The Voice. Nevertheless, his other famous credentials include single the single entitled Mr. Jones,  single entitled 3 gram featuring Slim Thug, EP and movie called The American Dream, EP May 64 ( Features Bun B and Snoop Dogg and samples Boyz-n-the-Hood by Eazy-E, EP Money Train and EP Money Train: Reladed.

Now moving on to his physical configuration, Mike possesses an average height that is speculated to be in the range of 5 feet and 7 inches to 5 feet and 9 inches. Impressively, he is in a good shape (totally lean and slim). And believe it or not, he had announced in 2009 that he lost over 100 pounds out of 300. Wow. Nevertheless, the American rapper of black ethnicity possesses a short hairstyle.

Talking about his relationship status, he is probably a single man enjoying his life as of 2015. Previously, back in 2011, he got engaged with video vixen and aspiring model Vivica. Later, they broke up and unfortunately, their breakup made a huge buzz in Twitter when Mike Jones got into a spat with Vivica on Twitter.

As per as Vivaca Tweets, Mike did something hurting including posting their personal pictures (kissing). However, she tweeted that the picture got posted after they broke up. She also claimed that Mike weight loss was not because of exercise and healthy diets. Then, she also went on to clear that she was no longer engaged with him. Nevertheless, she also said that she was never a gold digger and she was also not someone who was interested on appearing on his videos.

On the other hand, Mike has not spoke much about the whole saga. In an interview, he just said that he has just moved on dedicating his life to music.
