Neil Jones is a British professional dancer and choreographer who was born on May 4, 1982, in Munster, West Germany. Jones was interested in dance from an early age and began dance training at age three. He also trained in ballet, tap, modern, ballroom, and Latin dance styles. Jones represented Finland, the Netherlands, and the UK in dance competitions through his career. Jones has an impressive list of 45 dance championship titles including 8 times British National, 8 times Dutch National, European, and 4 times World Latin Champion. He was also Wold Latin Showdance Champion. In 2008, He and his partner Katya Jones who introduced him to Blackpool became undefeated four-time British National Champions. The couple is also three-time winners of the World Amateur Latin Championships.
His partner Katya is also a professional dancer and has appeared on the BBC celebrity dance show "Strictly Come Dancing". In 2016, Jones makes his own appearing in season 14 of "Strictly Come Dancing". Although he was not partnered with a celebrity, he was involved in group dances and was on standby if a female dancer found themselves in need of a partner at short notice. The couple announced in September of 2018 that they would be appearing at Donahey's Dancing with The Stars Weekend in 2019.
