Patrick Flueger was born in 1983, December 10 in Red Wing, Minnesota, USA. He is older than two of his siblings. When he was a teenager Patrick went to Red Wing High School. The actor does not have any university or college education but it was not a problem for him since he was really talented and got started with his career without too much of a professional help and education.

Career

It can be said that Patrick began his career as an actor in the year 2001 when he got a role as a Jeremiah Hart in The Princess Diaries, a comedy which was directed by Gary Marshall and was the movie that made Anne Hathaway a famous person. The movie was also a huge success financially since it made over 165 million dollars at the Box Office. Even though Patrick's role was an abysmal one it still was a great first step in the actor's career. After this, the actor went on and had roles in quite a few movies and TV shows. He was in Roger Donaldson's The World's Fastest Indian, a biography about a sports persona but the movie was not that good and was a fluke, making less than it cost to make. In 2007, Patrick auditioned for a role in Henry Pincus' comedy drama for the lead role and was awarded it. He played Ryan, a DJ who was one of the main characters of the film. During 2009, Flueger was in 3 different movies – Kill Theory, The Job, and Brothers. The Job was a movie where he got to play one of the main roles whereas the rest of the three he was in did not give him much of an exposure since the characters he played was in support category at best. In 2011, the actor was part of a musical dance movie Footloose. It was directed by Craig Brewer and made almost 64 million dollars at the Box Office. Patrick was playing Chuck Cranston. The last movie Flueger is credited for is The Tell-Tale Heart which is yet to be released. Not much is known about this particular film since its director John La Tier did not give too much information.

Besides the movies, the actor also starred in various television series. During the period of 2004 to 2007, he had one of the main roles in The 4400, a sci-fi series by CBS. Since 2014 Patrick Flueger is in a Chicago P. D., a police drama television series and he plays one of the main characters of a show – officer Adam Ruzek.

Personal life and trivia

The actor has dated quite a few women in his life but currently he seems to be single. He was never married and it doesn't look like it is happening anytime soon. There were some rumors claiming that he was gay but it is extremely unlikely.

Awards and nominations

During his 15-year long career of acting, Patrick Flueger was nominated only once for Young Artist Award in 2004 for his performance in Twelve Mile Road.
