She married Nicolas Colate Vallejo Najera, a public relations executive in 2007. They have a son together and in 2012, Nicolas stated that Paulina and he were planning to divorce after five years of marriage. He said that it was a mutual decision and also said there was no chances of him, reconciling with his wife in the future. They lived separately for a few months and then got divorced in 2013. There separation was not a smooth one. Her husband accused her to have hidden some of her earnings when the separation settlement was discussed. She agreed to pay him a little more than 6 thousand dollars as spousal support for three years. He said that he wanted more cash as she made more money during their relationship. However, Paulina disagreed with this claim.

During the trail, she proved to the court that Nicolas was not a parent material by hiring a private detective. She left their 2 year old son with him and made a private detective to spy on him. The detective found that he lacked parental responsibility and demonstrated detrimental behavior. It was said that when their son was sick, he took him out and was smoking around him and refused to change his diaper, the whole day.

It was said that she was having an affair with Gerardo Bazua, but, there are no details as to whether she met him after the separation or before it. During the separation, she said that she is open to relationships. In September 2013, Bazua’s ex-wife stated that her relationship with Bazua came to an end because of his relationship with his girlfriend, Paulina. It was said that Bazua admitted that he was having a relationship with her and his ex-wife blamed Paulina for the separation.

It was said that she showed as if she never cared about the blame, but was drinking heavily. She neglected her son’s developmental problems and refused to treat or acknowledge it. She started creating drama on the sets and it was said that her personal life was out of control for her.

Bazua never talked about his reason for separation from his spouse and his relationship with Paulina. Paulina also never talked about her boyfriend. They try to keep their things to themselves, but, often were caught while kissing in the public. There are  a lot of pictures on the internet about them hooking together.

The separation settlement of Bazua and his spouse are not known to public. Nicolas’ personal life is also out of public’s radar. It was said that he shares custody of his son, but, some say that she has the sole custody. It was said that she was controllable unstable during the separation and also when she was pregnant. She threw him out of her house because he came home late and drunk. She also threw him out when she was heavily pregnant and threatened him not to be present for her son’s birth.
