Christian Joseph Raab, professionally known as Raab Himself, was born on May 21, 1980, in Pennsylvania. He rose to prominence as a member of the CKY crew, gaining recognition for his performances and stunts as part of the group’s videos and television content.
Raab earned his stage name from longtime friend Bam Margera, who would introduce him by saying, “Here is Raab himself.” The nickname stuck and became his public persona. Their friendship began during their school days at East High School and developed into a close and enduring partnership. In fact, according to accounts, when Raab was expelled from the school, Bam Margera chose to leave as well, highlighting their strong bond.
Raab became involved in performance work during his early schooling years. After completing filming for the reality television show Viva La Bam, he returned to his hometown and resumed his education. He re-enrolled at Shippensburg University, having previously taken a break due to the demands of his growing entertainment career. He successfully completed his studies there.
Raab Himself began his career in the entertainment industry in the late 1990s, gaining attention through his work with the CKY video series.
