Sally has mentioned that life is all about enjoying it, and in order to do that you need to focus on what you like and love to do. When you love what you do, even the hard spots are not so bad. Sally’s father had always told her to find her true calling and run for it, never let anyone take the reins nor let them steer you in the other direction. Know your focus and shoot for it. Her life hasn’t been always perfect however. She has a recent medical scare last year concerning her health. It dealt with labyrinthitis, which is an inner ear infection that cause a delicate structure deep inside your ear called the labyrinth to become inflamed and tender. The swelling and inflammation puts pressure on the inner ear areas of the body, which controls hearing and even balance. Symptoms are vertigo, feeling ill, and hearing loss. This causes most sufferers to not be able to stand upright without tipping or failing, and headaches can also accompany that also. Fluid can also leak out the ears along with pain. The vision can also be impaired. It can last anywhere from a few days to many weeks, but luckily for Sally, bed rest and drinking fluids help her get through the ordeal. Being a public figure made the issue even worse since it took her out of commission for a while. Sally commented after the medical issue that it was quite scary a first, not knowing what was wrong, nor knowing what to do about it. She said the sensations were odd and not something she wants to experience again.
