The next year she moved to California and continued her education there in the University of California, Los Angeles. She finished it in the 1997 with a double bachelor's degree in history and art history. However her education, she always has a passion to the fashion world. So in the end of 90s she decided to dedicate herself to the fashion business and at first she served for the lingerie factory. In the 1998 she launched her own clothing company with a little help of her father. She designed a clothing line for woman that appealed to different body types.

In the early 2000s she launched new branches of swimwear collection. It was a kind of successful idea, later in the 2005, after the birth of her daughter, she started new line of children's swimwear. She collaborated with Judith Ripka and created her own jewelry line through QVC in the August of 2010.

Another breakthrough action of Shoshanna was a new collection of swimwear entitled "Made with Love”, which was created along with her friend Charlotte Ronson. This collection appeared in the spring of the 2009. Since the 2013 she served as a Style Director and spokesperson and adviser for the design label Elizabeth Arden, Inc. She also was involved in the project of Save the Garment Center and Century 21 Department Stores. She designed a very colorful T-shirts for that project.

In addition to her successful business, she also served as a guest contributor for Gap Inc. During her career, she has made her brilliant appearances in different TV programs and shows like “America's Next Top Model” and “Death of a Dynasty”.

Her personal life was pretty interesting. At the age of 17 she dated famous comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld, who was for 21 years older than she. They were together four years from 1993 till 1997. In the early 2000s she met Joshua Carl Gruss, who is a businessman at the Gruss & Co. The couple married each other in the 2003.

Now Shoshanna is blessed with three kids, a daughter, Sienna and twins babies Angelica and Joseph Colby. She and her husband Jerry got to divorce in the 2014, after 11 years of marriage. She has balanced her personal and professional life, but there is no any information about her new relationship. The total net worth of Shoshanna is approximately 50 million dollars. She also was an active in charity and even served as a Vice Chairman of the associate committee of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
