Steve was born on 9 December 1984 in Malaysia. Although limited information is available about his parents and education, it is known that Steve’s father served in the Air Force. Steve spent the majority of his childhood in Australia. Standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall, Steve went on to become a professional cricketer representing the Australian national team. Steve began his domestic cricket career in 2005, debuting for New South Wales in a match against Tasmania.
