Steven Finn is a 6-foot-7-inch tall cricketer who represented England as a right-arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed lower-order batsman. His full name is Steven Thomas Finn, and he was born on April 4, 1989, in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. He is the son of Diana and Terry Finn and has a sister named Claire Finn.

Steven Finn attended Parmiter’s School in Garston, located near his hometown of Watford. A lifelong supporter of Watford F.C., Finn demonstrated a passion for sports early in life. He began playing cricket at a young age and made a significant mark by debuting in first-class cricket for Middlesex at just 16 years old—becoming the youngest player to do so since Fred Titmus, who debuted at 16 in 1949.

Rise in International Cricket

Finn made his Test debut for the England national team on March 12, 2010, at the age of 20. He became the 647th player to represent England in Test cricket. Although competent with the bat, Finn's primary role in the team was as a bowler.
