He was born in 1973 and American by birth. He spent most of his childhood in Scotland and his love for racing began there only. After coming back to USA along with his father who was a naval officer, he continued his studying at University of Colorado. He decided to become a professional racer at that time and in summers, he did some odd mechanic and automobile repairing jobs to acquire driver’s seat of race cars.

He dated Katie Osborne for very long time and they finally got married. His wife fully supports him to achieve his goals and understands his feelings well. They were never been in news for wrong reasons. They trust each other completely and the chances of getting divorce in near future are very less.

Career

He worked as an ice racing instructor before starting his professional racing journey. In 2003, he went to California in the process of chasing his dream. He acted as a stunt driver in many Hollywood films and competed in several racing vents. He had competed with several top racers and the list includes Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel also. He considers himself lucky as he achieved all this in the span of ten years. He performed stunts in several hit movies and the list includes The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, Iron Man 2, Need For Speed etc.

His experience as an instructor at automotive marketing events and popularity helped him to become a cohost to famous automobile program, Top Gear. Because of his vast knowledge on automobiles, he gives suggestions and tips in this program which are received well by audience. He also won several Formula Drift championships.
