From 2005 to 2008, Crabtree played as a tight end for the Miami RedHawks. While primarily recognized for his strong blocking abilities, he also contributed in the passing game, recording 40 receptions for over 329 yards during his college career.
Crabtree entered the National Football League (NFL) in 2009. His professional career spanned six seasons, during which he played for several teams.
