Vincent Herbert is an American songwriter and producer who was born on January 27, 1973, in Newark, New Jersey, in the United States. Herbert attended Cambridge Christian School for grades 8 through 12. Herbert earned the nickname "vinnyherb" but the story behind it is unknown. His passion growing up was music and he would soon find himself working with renown artists such as Aaliyah, Tatyana Ali, Toni Braxton, Destinee & Paris, Destiny's Child, Lady Gage, his wife Tamar Braxton, and many more. He even co-starred with his wife Braxton in their WE television reality show "Tamar & Vince". The show was started as a spinoff of Braxton's family's reality show "Braxton Family Values" which premiered on September 20, 2012.
Herbert married singer Tamar Braxton in 2008 and even served as an executive producer for her album "Love and War" which he released on his record label Streamline Records. Herbert founded the label in 2007 as an imprint of Interscope Records. The couple went on to have a son named Logan Vincent Herbert on June 6, 2013. Braxton would file for divorce from Herbert in 2017 citing irreconcilable differences. They currently share custody of their son and Herbert has yet to remarry.
