And so Zak was growing up in such an unconventional and creative family. Since his early years, he was attending his mother’s film premiers, Golden Globes, and Oscar Awards. Later, Zak’s enjoyment from being a part of the show business transformed into his desire to become an actor in his teens. He started in the teen TV show “Bunheads”, in the season of the year 2012-2013. The plotline was going around the ballroom dancers in the special high school, who were participating among each other to get their place in the school performance. However, the movie“Blended” made him famous. The plotline of this movie revolved around the two families – the family of divorcee Lauren with her two sons and a widower Jimmy’s and his three daughter’s family. Initially, Lauren and Jimmy met on a blind date, which ended up being a disaster. Lauren thought that Jimmy was stingy and rude. Jimmy thought that she was as strict as the principal. In a set of different circumstances, they kept on meeting again and again and owing to their friends ended up going to Africa (surely, they did not know they would meet each other over there).Zak was playing a teenage son of Jimmy’s friend, who had a relationship with Hilary, Jimmy’s eldest daughter.

Zak’s next filming work was a role of the student Sammy, who makes a lot of trouble to the teacher of the year, in “The Teacher of the Year” (2014). Sammy was a troublemaker and almost made the main hero of the film leave the school. His next role was participation in the “Awkward” teen series. “Awkward,” tells the story of the 15-year-old, who becomes popular by accident. In 2015 he appeared in the “Bones” TV show. In 2016, he features Scott in the “Teenage Cocktail”. He got the role of Seth in the film “The Sphere and The Labyrinth”, who is the son of an unsuccessful architect Jordana Fitzgerald. Zak’s hero struggles with drug addiction and thrives in a relationship with his mother.
