John Cameron Fogerty was born on May 28 1945 in Berkeley, California and is the younger brother of Tom Fogerty. He is famous as the lead guitarist and lead singer of Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), and is listed on the list of 100 greatest singers. He attended El Cerrito High School and learnt guitar from Barry Oliver- the producer of Berkeley folk Festival. Along with his fellow mates from high school, he formed a band with his brother Tom Fogerty, Doug Clifford and Stu Cook called Tommy Fogerty and the Blue Velvets in El Cettito, California.
